In the hands of a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist functional, aesthetic, and stability results are generally greater than 90-95% when compared to American Board of Orthodontics standards. It’s the treatment appliance decision that I made for both my daughter and granddaughter. There are slight shape differences between the mini-metal appliances we use today and the clear “ceramic” appliances. Clear appliances are more aesthetic, metal appliances are smaller and more comfortable.
